Update your kitchen easily and affordably with my favorite kitchen goods

I always assumed upgrading the look of a kitchen meant major work (and cost) things like tearing out cabinets and replacing countertops.

In our last home, I didn’t bother adding any decor to the kitchen – I just didn’t see the point. It was the epitome of an early aughts kitchen – ugly light brown laminated cabinets, a useless desk area that became a junk magnet, laminated countertops that stained easily + an island that didn’t maximize storage areas.

I totally regret not giving that kitchen more thought. I could’ve done so much with it instead of just shrugging my shoulders with a ‘it is what it is’ attitude.

When we moved to this house, I was determined to add more personality everywhere I could. I didn’t have to spend a lot of money to create an inviting + warm kitchen, especially the counter area next to the stove.
